Why is a poor web-site bad for business? How can you help?
People have far more choice on the internet than they ever did on the high street. If your site is ‘poor’, then they will simply go elsewhere. To retain your customers, you must provide what they want & when they want it. This includes not just the range that you offer, but also the whole usability of your site. If a page is slow to load or the ordering process is awkward or complex, then people will simply not come back.
We can help by:
- assessing your existing site & making suggestions
- developing your whole site
- managing your site
- finding you the best host
- hosting the site ourselves
Lastly don’t forget your delivery methods. A poor experience with your delivery partner (whether Royal Mail, UPS, etc) is a poor reflection on your company too.
I don’t think that I can cope with the instant demand that people on the web might expect?
Some very successful businesses maintain a professional, polished presence on the internet to display their wares to a global audience, manage their orders through more traditional order and delivery mechanisms. We can work with you to set the expectation of your potential customers to best fit with your production facilities and/or stock levels.
Some of my products or produce are seasonal, how do I ensure that people do not order out of season?
We can help you by:
- ensuring that suitable messages are given to customers (set their expectation)
- managing your stock levels for you
- running end of season promotions, so YOU manage when you run out of stock
- helping you to help your customer
I don’t have the time (nor computer experience) to manage a shop on the internet. What can I do?
[TESTING] We don’t have time to test everything thoroughly, what should we do?
We can help you to assess the risk associated with your application or processes, and advise how best to prioritise the available testing effort? we can also provide testing resources for you, to work on your site or even remotely.
[BILLING] What do your services cost?
It is impossible to summarise our costs in a simple paragraph. However, we have worked flexibly with different clients to achieve mutually beneficial pricing, including:
- fixed price quotation
- daily rate
- initial fee and commission basis
- commission only
Please call to discuss your individual needs.
